IWEA Global Wind Day Photo Competition 2013

What does Wind Energy mean for you?IWEA has teamed up with EWEA to award prizes for the best photos from Ireland in the global wind day photo competition. You simply enter your picture from Ireland into the EWEA competition which will be entered into both the EWEA competition but also into the IWEA competition. Many thanks to IWEA members: Energia, SSE Renewables and Siemens who have kindly sponsored the prizes for the best entries from Ireland. The competition will be open until 12 May at 20:00 CET.

You could describe where and how the picture you submitted was taken, explain why you chose that exact moment, motif and technical equipment or tell us your views on wind energy and your relationship to it. You could send us a story, or even a poem or a song. You choose how to express yourself. The competition will be open until 12 May at 20:00 CET.

IWEA Photo Competition Prizes: €1,000 One4All  voucher for the country winner, €500 One4All vouchers for two runners up. Prizes kindly sponsored by;

Winners of the competition will receive One4All vouchers as well as their photographs featured in the IWEA magazine. In addition, the winning selection maybe put on display as well as pushed out our social media platforms and website.

 

This is the Irish Wind Energy Associations second photo competition. The first competition was won by Conor Calnan in June 1999 with his picture of Kilronan Wind Farm in County Roscommon.(below)
