Brian Britton RIP - Message from Peter Harte, Chairman IWEA

It was with great sadness that I learnt of the passing of Brian Britton this week. When it comes to people who have shaped our industry, you don’t have to look much further than Brian. He was visionary, brave and forward thinking. His legacy will be felt by generations to come. On a personal level, I had the privilege to work closely with Brian on a range of projects, and I never failed to be impressed by his passion, his deep industry knowledge and absolute integrity. On behalf of the IWEA Council and the greater membership, I extend my sincere condolences to his wife, children, grandchildren and extended family. Brian achieved much in his lifetime and has set in place a path for others to follow. We are grateful for the work he has done and the impact he has made not just to our industry, but for Ireland and our climate.
