PPA (Power Purchase Agreement)
abbrev. Power Purchase Agreement: This is where an electricity generator and an electricity supplier enter into a commercial agreement to sell energy from one to the other for a certain period of time and at a certain price. The procuring of a PPA is a requirement in order to qualify for the REFIT scheme.
