Wind Energy keeps Ireland moving during storm

“There were many champions during last week’s snow and storm, and Ireland’s wind energy was among them. Our green resource stepped up to the mark supplying an impressive 58% of our electricity needs on Friday. Other days also showed similar impressive stats with 44% of Ireland’s electricity met by wind energy on Thursday and 43% on Wednesday last.
As a nation we continue to excel in this area. We are proud that even the ‘Beast from the East’ couldn’t dim the vigour of our home grown power.”
