Global Wind day - What have you planned?

On the 15th June wind farms across Ireland and further afield will mark Global Wind Day with planned walks, school visits and competitions.
Here are some events member's ran last year:
• Family open days
• Guided tours • Fun runs over 5k or 10k
• Educational events
PHOTO COMP: IWEA will also be running a photo competition again this year with a €500 one-for-all voucher for the winning entry. Similar to the European version https://globalwindday.org/photocompetition/ our competition welcomes photos from amateur and professional photographers of any wind farm on the island of Ireland, taken in the last two years. All entries will be shared on our social media platforms and website.
Please send your prize pic to lisa-anne@iwea.com with some details of the photograph, when it was taken etc.. And your name, location and contact details.
A winner will be chosen on Thursday 7th June - Judge's decision is final. Good luck.
