NIRIG Policy & Communications Manager, based in Belfast - £30,000 pa

Northern Ireland’s renewable energy industry has united to provide a new voice – the Northern Ireland Renewables Industry Group (NIRIG). NIRIG is now seeking a Policy & Communications Manager who can work with our members to develop policy, build relationships with key stakeholders and manage its day to day administration. You should be a graduate, who is self starter, with an enthusiasm for renewable energy, an understanding of the policy process and a good communicator.

Role Purpose:
NI Renewables Industry Group (NIRIG) is a joint collaboration of IWEA and Renewable UK to represent the renewable energy industry in Northern Ireland. The role of the NIRIG Policy and Communications Manager is to provide specialist support to the NIRIG in fulfilling the duties of the group. The role will analyse and provide policy advice in areas such as Grid, Planning, Market, Regulation and other standard issues and also provide communications support and advice to the NIRIG Chair and officers in delivery of the group’s policy agenda.
